Our goal is to protect our language, culture and heritage, and to create independence and economic prosperity for Norman Wells Land Corporation participants of the SDMCLCA.
The Norman Wells Renewable Resource Council (NWRRC) is set up through the Land Claims Agreement to represent the NWLC’s interest in the environment, wildlife and the outdoors.
The Norman Wells Land Corporation is a not-for-profit corporation representing the Sahtu Dene and Metis of Norman Wells. We are one of seven land claims driven corporate arms of the beneficiaries of the Sahtú Region.
