Business Arm

Norman Wells Claimant Corporation is the business arm of the Norman Wells Land Corporation / Tłegǫ́hłı̨ Got’įnę Government. It is an incorporated for-profit company under the Business Corporations Act of the North West Territories. The company was established to develop and participate in economic activity on behalf of the Norman Wells Land Corporation / Tłegǫ́hłı̨ Got’įnę Government. 

VISION STATEMENT

We will achieve social and economic self-sufficiency for the Norman Wells participants of the Sahtú Dené and Métis Comprehensive Land Claim Agreement (SDMCLCA) through strong self-governance, fair access and benefit agreements, good long term financial management and sound investment in local infrastructure.
